Wander far north,

Through blizzards that howl

And nip. Bring forth

A compass from the owl,

Wisdoms concealed from the world;

Questions of all philosophy,

The guide to the infra-world.

Away from these selfish seas.

My wings rise and fall

To the needle's dance,

A graceful swoop over your walls,

Freedom alas.
